Registration for the Highlander III ends on September 19, and race day is September 22.
The minimum age is twelve years old on race day, but there is no maximum limit!
The Highlander III currently costs $67/individual for the three-mile course and $78/individual for the six-mile course. The price will increase periodically so please sign up as soon as possible to take advantage of the current lowest possible price. Kids Wee Highlander 3/4 mile course is only $24.00 and includes a full size finisher medal and custom Tultex Race shirt!
There is a discount available for being a member of the military, police, fire, or EMS industry. Also if you subscribe to our newsletter, we will also give you a discount code! Email Jonny@RockOnAdventures.com for discounts. Always check our Facebook Page as well for any current on-site promotions or Rock On Adventures promo codes that will give you the lowest possible price for registration. Only one code per person.
We definitely encourage you to bring your friends and family with you! Rock On Adventures is a family-oriented company dedicated to providing events that include everyone, even spectators.
Absolutely nothing! Parking is $5 per car that is not a participant's, cash only, but beyond that there is no fee for supporting your favorite Highlander.
Packet pickup starts at 7:30 AM on race day.
There are several waves on race day, and you should arrive at least one hour before your wave's start time to avoid missing it. The gates open for parking at 7:00 AM.
The Highlander III requires no gear or equipment to race. However, you may want to consider that you will be getting very wet and muddy at some point during the race, so choose your shoes and clothes accordingly. There will be ropes on the course so you may want to bring a good pair of leather gloves to protect your hands. We strongly encourage you to dress up, as there will be a prize for best costume!
Water will be available both at the Highlander in general and specifically on the courses every 1/2 mile.
There will be plenty of food and drinks! Please bring cash, as it will be the only accepted form of payment.
Due to safety concerns, no pets are allowed, with the exception of service animals assisting disabled persons.
There will be water available for rinsing off.
